Trip to the Church of the Ascension in Wembley
On Ascension Day, Thursday 1st May, a group of us from St Andrew's visited the Church of the Ascension in Wembley. There were plenty of us to fill a small coach driven by Anthony on this our first outing of the year.
Our hosts for the evening were Fr Matthew Catterick, Team Rector and his lovely wife Sam. Fr James Power took the sermon. We met other members of the Wembley Park Team, The Revd Trevor Critchlow and The Revd Hyacinth Young. After the service wine and nibbles were provided.
