St Andrews-Fulham Fields

The following is the testament of James a regular visitor to the homeless project.
I want to tell you why and how I became a Christian.
Well it happened to me about 3years ago. I was on my way back home but something happened to me, I found myself in a car park some where in North London, on the floor and asking for God to come into my life. There was no booming voices, no opening of the heavens and no choirs of angels but something happened to me. For the first time in years the paranoia drugs and beer was poison to my body and itI went from me thanks to God. I became a Christian whether you choose to believe me is irrelevant but my condition of a swollen heart was healed when he came into my life. I now feel peace not anger and I am now fighting fit.
If anyone tells you that being a Christian is going to make your life rosy then they are mistaken but I would not go back the life I had before. I believe it takes a stronger man to follow Christ than it does to run from him and as a Christian I am a stronger and bigger man today. Thanks for listening.
James

Going Bananas At the Project!

Fair Trade Fortnight 2009 _ St Andrew's took part in the Fair Trade Foundation Go Bananas challenge! Not only was the congregation encouraged to eat fair trade bananas, but the the local Co-operative supermarket donated fair trade bananas for smoothies for the homless people's lunch club at the St Andrew's Project.
