Development Project

St Andrew's, Fulham Fields needs to expand it facilities for community use. The church has developed a wide range of community activities over the last three years and now needs to develop the church building to allow these activities to be secured for the community and congregation for the future.
An exciting proposal to transform our building is now being proposed. This will allow us the creation of three large community halls, a cafe area, a church office and new toilet facilities. It is also possible that much needed restoration work will be carried out to the stained glass, the brick work, and the interior of the church.
The church currently runs a Mums and Toddler's Group of about 90, a Fruit and Veg. Co-Op, a lunch club, a Homelessness Project feeding and clothing 70 people each Saturday and many other activities as well as our Sunday and weekday congregations. The facilities within church can no longer support these activities and we have an opportunity which may never arise again to redevelop to secure the long term future the building.
By returning the church to its original proportions we can develop a small residential site at the West end of the church which will finance the project. This is not a project to raise money for the church, but to provide facilities for all the many people who come through the building on a regular basis whether they come looking for a conversation with God, or a cup of tea, or a friendly welcome!
