Photo Albums - Trip to he Friars in Aylesford September 2010
Parishioners from St Andrew's joined Father Marcel on pilgrimage to The Friars in Aylesford, Kent. Following a wonderful 3 course lunch in the pilgrims hall, the pilgrims explored the grounds and shrine dedicated to Our Lady. Father David, one of the resident Friars, spoke animatedly about the life and history of the religious community at Aylesford before we all headed off for a small service of prayer in the Cloister Chapel, ending the day with tea in the Barn. Everyone who took part commented on how peaceful and calming the Friary was for them. We prayed for all parishioners, especially the sick and for the success of the development.
