Children and youth
Children and young people are central to our way of thinking about the gospel. Jesus was clear –“let the children come to me and do not prevent them”. We have dedicated one whole side of the church for parents and children to be present during worship and to absorb what it is to see those around them engaged in worship. We also continue to support and empower young people in many ways.

Children’s church
3rd Sundays @ 10am during the Parish Communion Service
Children and young people are an essential part of our Church community and are welcome at any service.
On the 1st Sunday each month we have an All Age service in which the children and young people take an active part.
On the 3rd Sunday each month the children are invited to participate in Children's Church (during the morning service), with singing, fun activities and exploring the day's Bible theme. Children's Church is primarily for those aged 2-10.

Songs & Stories
Wednesdays 10–11.30am
Songs and Stories is a fun and exciting place to be! Parents and children are led through a series of action songs, have a break to share fruit, before story time and bubbles. The cost per family is £2, but this may be waived in cases of need. New people are welcomed nearly every week. Some choose to stay for lunch in the café, which serves child sized portions of the meal of the day. The sessions are attended largely by people with no other connection to St Andrew’s church.

Church Youth Groups
Young people are an important part of our Church family and we are always looking for new ways to empower and encourage them. We run a youth group for school year 6 up to 18 years. We dive deep into the big questions of faith and life, whilst having fun and sharing snacks. From time to time, we gather outside of our normal time for trips and events.
Get in touch for information about our upcoming gatherings.

W14 Youth Club
Fridays 6-8pm
Our Youth Club for secondary school age young people is brilliant for those who enjoy sport, in particular football – we have a professional coach to teach and facilitate matches on the astroturf. Not into sport? That's OK too! We also offer activities, games, craft and a place to chill (and trips!).

Youth Ministry in Communion (YMIC)
Launched September 2021
St Andrew's is proud to be leading a brand new initiative that promotes collaboration across parishes in the catholic and eucharistic traditions of the Church of England to develop local youth ministry. We have a vision to see youth ministry renewed in the sacramental tradition of the Church of England here in London and further afield.
