Welcoming All Deepening Faith
Serving our Community

The CHURCH is currently CLOSED

But, worship continues!

At the time of writing places of worship are still permitted to be open but there is strong encouragement for services to be livestreamed only.

Given the rampant spread of the virus and under the guidance of the Bishop of London, the PCC has taken difficult decision to close the Church until late February, meaning that our services will only be available online.

Lent 2021

Addressing world faith leaders in preparation for the global climate change conference in Glasgow later this year, Archbishop Justin Welby described how the pandemic has given the West a taste of the insecurity experienced for decades by developing countries because of climate change. NOW is the time to respond, to consider the role that we, our church and our country can play in protecting and restoring God’s inter-connected world.

We’ll be using the book, Saying Yes to Life’ by Ruth Valerio each Wednesday 7.30-8.30pm on Zoom during Lent. To participate in the group you’ll find it helpful (but not essential) to read through the relevant chapter week by week.

St Andrew's is a diverse and vibrant Church of England parish church, worshiping in the liberal-catholic tradition. Our aim is to be available to all who live in our community and all who wish to join us from elsewhere. We welcome all, we look for where God is at work in our community and get involved, and we seek to be a place where faith can be explored and deepened.

Volunteer

Volunteers are an integral part of our team at St Andrew's, without them we wouldn't be able to serve our community in the way we do. We're always looking for more people to join our teams!
