Worship at St Andrew's
At St Andrew’s we are committed to worshipping God with creativity and confidence within the broad tradition of the Church of England. The Eucharist is at the heart of our worship, complemented by scripture and enriched by a particularly strong musical tradition. This is further enhanced by the visual surroundings and sense of place. The main act of worship is on a Sunday morning, but smaller gatherings punctuate the week and the building is open throughout the week for private prayer.
SUNDAYS
Parish Communion (with Children's Church) - Sundays at 10am
1st Sunday of each month: All Age service where children and young people play an active part in the service.
Evening Service - Sundays at 6:30pm
1st Sunday of each month: a beautiful 'cathedral style' service with a substantial choir, anthems and organ voluntary. We are very blessed with a great choir at St Andrew's who have been invited to sing in cathedral churches across the country (and beyond!). You can read about and listen to our choir here.
Other Sundays: a simple and contemplative service of Evening Prayer or Compline.
THROUGHOUT THE WEEK
Morning Prayer (Monday-Thursday at 8:30am)
Join us in the Lady Chapel at 8:30am Monday-Thursday to start the day with prayer.
We also stream this on our Facebook page.
