“ Located in an exciting, diverse and attractive part of West London, the church community at St Andrew’s, Fulham Fields has an energy and a confidence, together with a strong outward focus towards the wider community in the parish. It is now looking to build further on its long-established sacramental tradition and heritage, and there are both the foundations and the significant opportunity in place to grow the church here in its impact and in its numbers.

St Andrew’s and the Kensington Episcopal Area is therefore looking for a prayerful and mission-minded priest who can provide vision and leadership, who can inspire people and draw out gifts of leadership in others, and who will also thrive in a diverse and inclusive community as they seek to engage with the many opportunities in the local area for outreach, worship and witness.

The significant funding recently secured for the Youth Ministry in Communion (YMIC) initiative is a wonderful new opportunity to engage more effectively in ministry to youth and young adults, and oversight of this ministry will be a key element of the next vicar’s role here.

For the right woman or man, coming into the parish with energy, prayer and vision this could be ideal either as a first incumbency, or for someone looking for a fresh challenge in mission and ministry in an Episcopal Area that has a sense of unity and missional direction that is rooted in the church’s core purposes of Worship and Witness together.”
